Stellan Skarsgard appears to have confirmed the involvement of Forest Whitaker’s Saw Gerrera from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in Andor.
Andor takes place five years before the events of Rogue One, and while we know we will see several characters from the prequel like Mon Mothma, the series will also introduce us to plenty of new characters. One exciting addition to the Star Wars franchise is Thor star Stellan Skarsgard. There are no details on who he will play in Andor just yet, but he recently revealed in a Swedish interview, translated via Reddit, that he shared “a juicy scene or two” with Forest Whitaker’s Saw Gerrera.
Before Forest Whitaker played Saw Gerrera in Rogue One, he first appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The character has appeared in several other projects since, such as Star Wars Rebels, Jedi: Fallen Order, and recently appeared in the first episode of The Bad Batch.
What do you think Forest Whitaker’s Saw Gerrera will be up to in Andor? Who do you think Stellan Skarsgard will play? Feel free to speculate in the comments below!
