Supergirl returns to television tonight with it CBS has dropped a few brand new clips and with it for the episode titled “Solitude.” Tonight fans will see Kara visit Superman’s Fortress of Solitude for the very first time. Along with the iconic location, fans will also see Kara square off with the villainous “Indigo” for the very first time. The episode is also bosting some new relationship drama for Jimmy Olsen, which constantly seems to only mean good things for Kara and their current relationship-tension between her and Jimmy.
As a nice treat for longtime DC fans, Indigo will be played by Laura Vandervoort who also played Supergirl in the CW show Smallville.

Vandervoort is credited with playing Supergirl a total of 23 times during the 10 year Smallville TV run, including both physical and voice work, so some would even consider her to be even more seasoned in the role than our current Supergirl. While some fans have heavily criticized the overall look of Indigo (primarily in comparison to a certain X-Men character), but given the characters history and the shows recent track record, fans should be in for a treat.

“Solitude” – Kara travels to Superman’s Fortress of Solitude in hopes of learning how to defeat Indigo (Laura Vandervoort), a dangerous being who can transport via the Internet and who has a connection to Kara’s past. Also, James’s relationship with Lucy reaches a crossroads, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Feb. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
