During an interview with Larry King, Frank Grillo commented on rumors about who could succeed Chris Evans in the role of Captain America.

Chris Evans is expected to retire from the role of Captain America after his Marvel Studios contract expires with Avengers 4. While Grillo said that he isn’t aware of who will assume the First Avengers’ mantle, he did explain that he’s heard rumors about who the potential successor could be:

“I don’t know. I don’t know, but there have been rumors that Captain America could be African American. It could be a woman. You know? So, they’re looking.”
