‘Fringe’ Director Brad Anderson To Helm DC’s ‘Titans’ Pilot

Fringe director Brad Anderson is set to helm the pilot for DC’s upcoming live-action Titans series, Heroic Hollywood has confirmed.

Fringe director Brad Anderson is set to helm the pilot for DC’s upcoming live-action Titans series, Heroic Hollywood has confirmed.

Anderson has had a long career in television. In addition to episodes of the hit sci-fi series produced by JJ Abrams, Anderson has directed episodes of prestigious shows such as The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, and Treme, as well as AMC’s The Killing.

The series written by DC creative chief officer Geoff Johns, Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl) follows a group of young superheroes from all over the DC Universe when Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of the fearless band of new heroes known as the Titans.

The long in development live-action adaptation of the Teen Titans comes from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Goldsman, Johns and Berlanti Prods’ Berlanti and Sarah Schechter serve as executive producers.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, and Minka Kelly as Dove. Here’s the official synopsis:

Titans explores one of the most popular comic book teams ever. It follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.”
