The first Frozen opened in theaters 2013 and quickly became a smash shit, grossing $1.276 billion at the worldwide box office. The film also won a number of awards, including two Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Let It Go.”
Here is the official synopsis for Frozen 2:
Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.
Frozen 2 features the voices talents of Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, Josh Gad as Olaf and Santino Fontana as Hans. Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are also on board in undisclosed roles.
Disney’s Frozen 2 opens in theaters on November 22, 2019. Stay tuned for more updates!
