Gabriel Luna Announces Wrap On Upcoming ‘Terminator’ Film

Gabriel Luna Terminator

The upcoming Terminator film, which still does not have an actual title as of this point, has had a smooth production as far as we can tell. And recently, it was reported that the next installment in James Cameron’s franchise would be sliding into the release date spot vacated by Wonder Woman 1984. And now it seems that things are winding down on the project, and the new Terminator himself, Gabriel Luna, has taken to social media to announce the denouement of work on the project.

Seems wherever Gabriel Luna goes, there’s some sort of danger lurking with his character. If he’s not setting things ablaze as the Ghost Rider on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it seems he’s got his sights sets on Sarah Connor in the upcoming film. And just today, the actor took to his Twitter page to announce that production on the project had officially wrapped, with a mere “That’s a wrap” accompanied by two robots and one skull emojis. Have a look for yourself:

So it remains to be seen when we’ll get our next photo reveal. It may depend on what Fox will prioritize next as far as marketing is concerned, now that Bohemian Rhapsody is in theaters, so priorities may shift to upcoming releases in their slate. And it’s been awhile since we’ve gotten anything past that first photo reveal with Natalie Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, and Linda Hamilton. With this intending to be a continuation to Terminator 2 and overlooking everything that came after all the way through Genisys, where do you hope the franchise goes from here?

What are your hopes and expectations for the next Terminator film? Let us know in the comments below.

The untitled Terminator film is directed by Tim Miller and stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta. The film will hit theaters on November 1, 2019.
