Many are anticipating the next live action film from the DC Extended Universe to be the best yet – maybe even the film that will define the style and standard for the projects to follow. This hope is shared by the cast and crew of Wonder Woman’s upcoming solo venture, who are making it their business to spread the word of the famous Amazon before she soars onto the big screen this June.
Gal Gadot, who also played Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s epic Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Chris Pine, who is new to the superhero world, recently sparkled in a promotional video for the film. They used the video to address their Chinese audience, who will be celebrating the beginning of the year of the Rooster this Saturday – as evidenced by Chris Pine’s well wishes. Gal Gadot speaks a little Chinese in the promo, and they urge fans to check out Wonder Woman when it’s released this summer. Check it out below:
Gadot and Pine have plainly maintained the chemistry their characters exhibited in the trailers for Wonder Woman, so it’s a good chance the actual movie itself will shine with the both of them as stars.
Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins, from a screenplay by Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg. It stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Lisa Loven Kongsli and Danny Huston.
Wonder Woman is scheduled to be released in the US on June 2nd this year.
