A cool piece of fan art reveals what Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot could look like replacing Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.

Digital artist BossLogic is well-known for his fan art photoshops, and he’s recently worked on a series of images where a Marvel actor and a DC actor swap roles. In this case, we have Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot taking over the character of Black Widow from Avengers: Endgame star Scarlett Johansson.

Black Widow made her big screen debut in 2010’s Iron Man 2, and Scarlett Johansson then reprised her role across The AvengersCaptain America: The Winter SoldierAvengers: Age of UltronCaptain America: Civil War, Thor: RagnarokAvengers: Infinity WarCaptain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman first appeared onscreen in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Gal Gadot has reprised her role across Wonder Woman and Justice League.

Gal Gadot is slated to star in next year’s Wonder Woman 1984, and presumably a third Wonder Woman film at some point after that, while Scarlett Johansson is presumably playing Black Widow for the last time in her own 2020 movie.

Full plot details on Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow are being kept under lock and key, though it has been revealed that the film is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and will see Nathasha Romanoff take on the villainous Taskmaster. The film will also mark the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Yelena Belova, the second modern-era character to use the Black Widow title in the comics.

Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. The film is currently in post-production.

Black Widow is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2020. Stay tuned for the latest news on Scarlett Johansson, Gal Gadot, Black Widow and Wonder Woman.
