This Cosplayer Looks So Much Like Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman It’s Crazy

A cosplayer known as Lis Wonder bears such a resemblance to Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman that you could actually mistake her for the actress herself.

Cosplayer Lis Wonder recently shared several new photos of herself in full costume as Wonder Woman, featuring both of her alter-egos, Diana Prince and Diana of Themyscira. The picture that we’ve selected is one of her best, showing off a determined Wonder Woman against a mountainous backdrop, which could easily be mistaken for a proof-of-concept image. The design’s color palette seems to have a little more in common with Gal Gadot’s appearance in the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 (seen above) than her previous DC Extended Universe appearances.

What do you think of Lis Wonder’s cosplay? Doesn’t she actually look like Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman? Sound-off your thoughts in the comments!

Wonder Woman has greatly grown in prominence since she was introduced in a live-action capacity on film in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but she really broke out with the release of the Patty Jenkins-directed Wonder Woman in 2017, to the point where her presence in Justice League was prominently advertised. Two out of the three DC Films projects that Gal Gadot has been involved in were massive financial successes, and with Wonder Woman 1984, it looks like Gal Gadot will have a pretty good track record of three out of four hits.

Plot details on the Wonder Woman 1984 are being kept under lock and key, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with the Soviet Union in the 1980s and encounters a formidable new adversary named Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wigg, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.

Wonder Woman 1984 will be released in theaters on June 4, 2020. Stay tuned for the latest news on Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and the future of the DC Extended Universe!
