The Battle of Winterfell may be over, but Game of Thrones is still full heading full speed ahead into its final three episodes, and the show’s creators teased that the White Walkers may not be gone for good.
SPOILERS FOR GAME OF THRONES BELOW
D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, creators of Game of Thrones, are playing it close to the chest as the show comes to a close with the final three episodes. In the most recent episode, all the gathered armies of man, lead by John Snow, now known to be Aegon Targaryen, and Daenerys Targaryen, finally faced the Army of the Dead and the Night King in the Battle of Winterfell.
Jon Snow’s adoptive sister, Arya Stark, was the one the finally strike down the Night King and, in turn, his entire army of White Walkers and the dead. But, is that the last time we’ll see White Walkers? The show’s creators sat down with Jimmy Kimmel to talk about the final season of Game of Thrones and answer some fan questions.
When asked if we are 100% done with the White Walkers on Game of Thrones, the creators only said,
“We’re not going to answer that.”
