Game of Thrones season 8 continues to get immense backlash, with one fan mad enough to demand a rewrite via an airplane banner.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Game of Thrones “casual fan” Ryan Geddes created a GoFundMe account for the banner. Geddes raised nearly $700 for the banner, which reads “SOMEONE REWRITE GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8 PLZ.” The banner flew over Seattle’s downtown area on Wednesday for about 30 minutes before it was spread all over the web. Geddes told the trade:
I made this just to send to a couple friends as a joke, not really thinking it would go anywhere, and then we hit our limit [for funding],

Game of Thrones season 8 suffered the lowest rated episodes and overall season. Currently, the season itself is sitting at critic rating of 58%, far below the other seasons which are all above 90%. The penultimate and final episodes of Game of Thrones are also the lowest rated with both sitting at 48%.
