‘Game Of Thrones’: Emilia Clarke Recalls Meeting With Kit Harington

Game of Thrones HBO

The latest episode of Game of Thrones featured the long-awaited meeting between Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, which resulted in both leaders coming to an uneasy understanding as Dany granted Jon access to the Dragonglass located at Dragonstone. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, stars Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington shared behind-the-scenes details on the momentous meeting.

Clarke described the reactions of both stars as the scene was being filmed:

“Both of us were going, ‘Ahhh what are you doing on my set!?’”

Clarke also joked about appearing on screen with a co-star who also sports stylish hair:

“This is weird! There’s another Hair in town, and I don’t like it!”

Harington explained why working with his co-star was particularly unique in this situation:

“Usually you start working on a movie and meet [a costar] for the first time and you develop chemistry on screen over time. Here, you know somebody for seven years and you’ve watched their character on screen all that time. So it’s a unique experience as an actor to come together and know the world is watching.”

Images for next week’s episode indicate that Daenerys and Jon will have at least one more exchange before his possible return to Winterfell. How do you think Dany and Jon’s relationship will develop? Share your thoughts below!
