Geoff Johns Calls The Flash The ‘Collective Favorite’ Of ‘Justice League’

Justice League FlashDC creative chief officer Geoff Johns was in attendance at the fall NATO summit on Wednesday night and with him, he brought a brand new trailer for the upcoming superhero epic Justice League.

Justice League follows Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) as they attempt to form the Justice League in time to save the Earth from Steppenwolf, the uncle of Darkseid. While a description of the new trailer seen at the summit has yet to be revealed online, Johns teased tonight that The Flash (Ezra Miller) has become the collective favorite to come out of the new film. Justice League features all around fanboy Miller reprising his role as the Scarlett Speedster for the third time after his debut in last year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and his subsequent cameo in Suicide Squad.

Thanks to Regal Cinemas’ Chris Sylvia, we’ve also got a fresh and up-close look at the new tactical Batsuit worn by Batman in the film. You can check out the tweets below.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ciaran Hinds as Steppenwolf, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.

10 Justice League Members Who Should Join The DCEU Next

Previous1 of 11

Justice League
The Justice League isn’t limited to the six members we saw in Zack Snyder’s film. The team has an expansive roster that features dozens of reserve characters ready to help the Justice League save the world on a moment’s notice.

With movies like the Green Lantern Corps and Shazam in the pipelines, it’s clear more heroes will be introduced to the DC Extended Universe soon. The Avengers featured a small team and it only grew as more characters were introduced into the Marvel movie universe. The Justice League is gonna need all the help it can get to fight Darkseid and keep the streets safe from lower-tier villains like Deathstroke and Joker.

Did I forget to include your favorite Justice League member? Well let me know in the comments why Fire and Firestorm are better choices.

  • The Night Owl looking Batman looks terrible!

  • JNAZ

Probably why they’re trying to fast track Flashpoint. I’m guessing something happens in Justice League that will require Flash to go back in time to try and fix which leads to Flashpoint, making it basically JL part 2.
