With Wonder Woman out and dominating the box office, DC Entertainment has been able to shift their focus to their next release, Justice League. As fans started to shift their focus from one film to another as well, rumors about reshoots started to amplify. With Joss Whedon finishing up the film due to Zack Snyder‘s departure, many took that to mean that there would be significant changes to the film, and the reshoot fervor has only accelerated in recent weeks. However, DC’s Geoff Johns isn’t phased by all the rumormongering.
When a fake Joss Whedon Twitter account thanked Johns for asking him “to reshoot the entire Justice League movie,” Johns couldn’t help but throw back a witty retort: “Did I mention we’re going to put Spider-Man and Scooby Doo in it?”
Adding some absurdity to the already absurd rumors, Johns’ reply was met largely with applause and memes about how “savage” his response was. Here’s what Whedon originally said:
“Thank you @geoffjohns for asking me to reshoot the entire Justice League movie, I’m honored.”
And here’s Johns’ response:
Did I mention we're going to put Spider-Man and Scooby Doo in it? https://t.co/ayKbTrGPeW
