Batman has been portrayed by a number of actors in live-action and animated projects since the character first appeared on comic book pages. With those depictions have come just as many versions of the classic Batman suit. In an interview with Gotham TV Podcast, series star David Mazouz revealed which version of the iconic outfit he would like to see young Bruce Wayne wear on the show.
Mazouz revealed that he would like to see the Batman costume from a New 52 comic book storyline that heavily inspired the main arc of Gotham’s third season.
“I’ve never thought about this. I’m sure I’m going to go home and think about it and be like, ‘aw, I should have said this. What’s coming to me now is, I think my favorite one is, the Batman costume from the ‘Court of Owls’ storyline…I think its really cool, the kind of gray with the elongated bat symbol on the chest.”
When asked which Batmobile he would select, Mazouz chose the vehicle featured in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
“I really like the Ben Affleck Batmobile. I think I’m going to have to go with the Ben Affleck Batmobile.”
Gotham continues next week with the two-hour season finale.
