Although the season 3 finale of Gotham featured the death of Fish Mooney after she was mortally wounded, many fans believed the character could return considering her history of returning from the dead. However, executive producer John Stephen recently confirmed that Fish’s latest death will be her last during an interview with ComicBook.com.
Stephen stated that Fish Mooney’s death will be permanent:
“I’m afraid that’s it. Now, that one was it. At a certain point, you gotta say ‘Definitely.’ People die at a certain point, and that’s the second or third time they die [on Gotham].”
