Gotham is gearing up for its final season on Fox so naturally, they would debut a poster with a dark, ominous vibe to it foreshadowing a very end of days theme which is very appropriate given the state the infamous DC city was left in after last season.
Fox has released a poster for the dark days ahead in Gotham. The city is in turmoil as the villains have taken over and just a few heroes remain dedicated to taking it back. But in all this chaos it seems that City hall is still open and a poster for a certain mayoral candidate lays on the steps of the most ironic place in Gotham while raindrops descend upon it from a dark sky.

It seems the city is still operating under the control of most of Batman’s rogue gallery and its good to know they are taking the duties of the office of City hall very seriously. It will be interesting to see how the Batman prequel will finish off its illustrious run and from the looks of the new poster, dark times are ahead. Gotham returns this January to Fox.
What are your thoughts on Gotham’s new poster? Are you excited for the final season? Would you vote for the Penguin for mayor of your city? Please share your thoughts in the comments below.
With Gotham on the brink of total anarchy and cut off from the outside world, only Jim Gordon, Bruce Wayne and a handful of heroes remain behind to retake the city. Inspired by the “No Man’s Land” arc from the comics, villains including Penguin, the Riddler, the Sirens and Jeremiah have taken claim on various regions of the city. Will order be restored, or will chaos reign in Gotham?
The series stars Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma, Jessica Lucas as Tabitha Galavan, and Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox.
Gotham season 5 will premiere on January 3, 2019, on Fox.
