Gotham Season 3 Episode 1 & 2 Titles Revealed

With all our favourite seasons coming to a close does that mean it’s time for us to look back on the great season behind us? NO! I say let’s keep looking forward. If you’re familiar with Gotham then you’re familiar with Drew Powell, the actor currently playing butch Gilzean. Well recently Powell took to twitter to reveal the first two titles of the upcoming season 3.

As you can see Episode 1 is to be called “Better to reign in Hell…”. A fascinating title, you may recognise it from the famous John Milton poem Paradise Lost, with the full phrase being Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven. This title could be an ode for things to come. It has been written by John Stephens, a veteran on the show having previously written six episodes.

Episode 2 is titled “Burn the Witch”, so keeping theme with the dark mood of the show. Again, to be written by no stranger to show as Ken Woodruff pens the second episode which will mark his seventh episode for Gotham.

Both opening episodes are to be directed by Danny Cannon who has directed four before these two, including the popular pilot episode.

On Season Three of Gotham, the origin story continues and the stakes are higher than ever, as Super-Villains more ambitious and depraved are introduced, and a realignment of alliances shakes up the fight for power in Gotham City.

You can check out Gotham Season 3 when it airs on Monday 19th September.
