David Mazouz, who plays the up-and-coming Caped Crusader on Fox’s Batman prequel Gotham, has confirmed that that series has wrapped filming on its fourth season.
The young actor posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing his pride in the show. He also talked about how Gotham will live on forever on streaming services and in the hearts of fans. This along with bidding farewell to fans is definitely a red flag to Gotham’s impending doom. Mazouz has been playing the character for a good chunk of his adolescent life, so it’s no surpirse that the show’s undecided future weighs on the young actor. The post, featuring a humorus picture of the young Bruce Wayne and co-star Robin Lord Taylor, who plays the Penguin, definitely confirms the suspicion that the show’s renewal is definitely still in limbo. While the fourth season of the show is full of action and drama, its future is still uncertain. The prequel series has always received mixed reviews and less then stellar ratings. For now, fans can enjoy David Mazouz continuing to become the dark knight in the upcoming epsiodes of the now completed season 4 of Gotham on FOX as it continues on March 29th, 2018.
The show stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, David Mazouz, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Morena Baccarin, Jessica Lucas, Chris Chalk, Crystal Reed and Alexander Siddig.
