‘The Flash’ Star Grant Gustin On His Admiration For Superman Actor Christopher Reeve

Grant Gustin Christopher Reeve The Flash Superman

The Flash star Grant Gustin opened up about his admiration for Superman actor Christopher Reeve.

Grant Gustin has never been shy about his love for Superman in interviews and on social media, despite playing The Flash on TV. On a recent episode of Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast, Gustin talked about his love for Christopher Reeeve’s version of Superman.

Later on in the podcast, a fan submitted question to Grant Gustin asks what historical figure would he like to meet. Michael Rosenbaum reminisced about when Christopher Reeve appeared on Smallville, which led to The Flash star opening up about why the Superman actor has meant so much to him:

“He’s not really a historical figure. I guess he is, kind of, but that was an early hero for me and what happened to him was just so tragic. I know he made a whole second life out of it and was able to inspire all kinds of people and do all kinds of positive things, but it was just awful. I was devastated when he passed away. So if I could have known him in his prime, and even gotten to work with him or something, that would have been a lot to me.”
