The Flash Grant Gustin Jonah Hex Crisis On Infinite Earths Arrowverse

A behind-the-scenes photo from the next Arrowverse crossover shows Grant Gustin’s The Flash wearing the iconic Jonah Hex hat.

While fans still have a few months until the next The CW’s next DC Comics crossover, the Arrowverse cast members are managing to keep the anticipation going with behind-the-scenes photos of what they’re getting up to. It seems like Grant Gustin isn’t afraid to have a little fun away from his duties as The Flash, stealing Jonah Hex’s iconic hat for himself in the downtime from filming the Arrowverse crossover.

Johnathon Schaech is returning to the Arrowverse as Jonah Hex after previously appearing as the roguish cowboy in Legends of Tomorrow. While it’s unclear how Jonah Hex appears in the Arrowverse crossover, it’s most likely that the time-travelling team bring him along for the fight before he teams up with Grant Gustin’s The Flash, Green Arrow and all the other Arrowverse heroes. Crisis on Infinite Earths has been teased since the very first episode of Grant Gustin’s The Flash, where a newspaper headline from the year 2024 revealed the Barry Allen’s fate was to disappear during a “crisis.” However, the fifth season finale of the Grant Gustin series accelerated this when the original newspaper headline changed the date of the event from 2024 to 2019. To add to this, the seventh season finale of Stephen Amell’s Arrow set up Oliver Queen’s role in the next crossover by having him join the Monitor on a mission to warn other worlds of the crisis, as part of the arrangement Oliver made in order to save the lives of both The Flash and Supergirl.

Crisis will span two quarters and consist of ArrowThe FlashSupergirlLegends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will launch with three episodes in December before concluding with two additional episodes in January.
