A brand new set photo from The Flash Season 8 show Grant Gustin donning gold boots.
Production on The Flash Season 8 continues, and the series is set to return to The CW just in time for Thanksgiving. Season 8 of the series which stars Grant Gustin as the titular Scarlet Speedster will kick off with a five-part crossover event titled “Armageddon.” The event will differ from previous Arrowverse crossovers such as Crisis On Infinite Earths given that it will all be within The Flash series exclusively.
Set photos have recently surfaced the web from production on The Flash Season 8, and this latest new image gives us an exciting look at Grant Gustin’s suit. This time, we see him on the run donning gold boots. You can check out the image down below:
In this iteration of the suit, it sure looks like The Flash is going further into the more comic book-accurate design of the classic suit for Grant Gustin. Most takes on the Scarlet Speedster’s suit lack the gold boots, opting for a more streamlined red in a near-monochromatic design. It will be interesting to see how the gold boots look in motion during action sequences, and it sure looks like the color combination really pops here.
You can read the premise for The Flash‘s Season 8 premiere below:
“A powerful alien threat arrives on Earth under mysterious circumstances and Barry (Grant Gustin), Iris (Candice Patton) and the rest of Team Flash are pushed to their limits in a desperate battle to save the world. But with time running out, and the fate of humanity at stake, Flash and his companions will also need to enlist the help of some old friends if the forces of good are to prevail.”
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow / Killer Frost, Jesse L. Martin as Joe West, and Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.
