The Flash star Grant Gustin recently shared his new tattoos on Instagram, and one of them pays homage to his DC Comics show.

It seems that The Flash star Grant Gustin is starting to feel nostalgia for the Arrowverse. Earlier this week, Grant Gustin took to Instagram to share his latest tattoos. One of them is a matching tattoo with wife LA Thoma Gustin and the other one is clearly a tribute to The Flash and what the character and the show mean to him. Gustin and his wife paid a visit to Big Bang Tattoo shop in Los Angeles, California, and got inked by the famous tattoo artist Mr. K., who specializes in micro tattoos.

Even though he appeared on the hit show Glee, Grant Gustin rose to stardom with The Flash. After Arrow‘s huge success, Grant Gustin’s The Flash became even more popular than its predecessor, achieving even better ratings than the Stephen Amell series. The Flash effectively gave way to other DC Comics shows on The CW like DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow and Supergirl. With The CW announcing that the next season of Arrow will also be its last, The Flash is set to become the network’s main DC Comics show and Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen will seemingly lead the other Arrowverse superheroes.

Here is the synopsis for The Flash Season 5 finale titled, “Legacy”:

The Flash is expected to return for its sixth season this October. The Grant Gustin series will likely become The CW’s flagship DC Comics drama after Arrow ends with a shortened, 10-episode eighth season. The Flash Season 6 will also lead us on to the next Arrowverse crossover event, Crisis On Infinite Earths.
