The latest TV spot for Spider-Man: No Way Home features Green Goblin hinting at his evil plan.

Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in a week and we surprisingly don’t know much about it officially. Yes, rumors have suggested that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will return as their respective Peter Parkers, but there’s been no official indication that they’re actually back. What we do know is that previous Spider-Man villains are set to return, including fan-favorite Green Goblin.

Willem Dafoe first appeared as the green-colored maniac in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, where he died at the hands of his own glider. Now, he’s set to return with an assembly of villains for Spider-Man: No Way Home, thanks to the multiverse. It’s ambiguous if Dafoe’s Green Goblin redeemed himself in his final moments, but it’s clear he has a vengeful plan in the upcoming Spidey threequel.

The latest TV spot for Spider-Man: No Way Home features Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin saying “We have a new world to conquer.”

The Green Goblin we know hasn’t even conquered his own company, let alone any worlds. Perhaps this version of Green Goblin to come in through the multiverse is different than the one we last saw two decades.
