Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz revealed an unused design for the Guardians in Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern.
In DC Comics lore, the Guardians of the Universe are a fictional race of immortal extraterrestrials who founded and lead the Green Lantern Corps. In the Green Lantern film starring Ryan Reynolds, the Guardians retain their distinctive blue skin and white hair, but multiple designs for the characters were considered in the pre-production stage.
Now, Jerad S. Marantz has taken to his official Instagram account to share one of the concept designs for the Guardians in Green Lantern. As Jerad S. Marantz notes in the caption, this was one of the few Guardian designs that were not featured in the final version of the Ryan Reynolds film.
