David Hasselhoff managed to make not only a surprise cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, but he also composed a song for it as well – Guardians Inferno. Now that song will be getting an official music video – directed by James Gunn himself – for the movie’s Blu-Ray release.
Hasselhoff was discussed in Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2 as a model for the kind of dad that Peter “Star-Lord” Quill wished that he’d had growing up, and the actor made a surprise appearance as a form of Ego the Living Planet when he was regenerating. But beyond his thematic importance to the movie’s plot and his unexpected cameo, The ‘Hoff also performed a new song over the credits called “Guardians Inferno” – and the movie’s director has just announced that it’ll be getting a music video with the home video release:
This may be the greatest thing I’ve ever worked on – a #GuardiansInferno video coming with #GotGVol2 on home video. pic.twitter.com/1VQp8eXzAs

Knowing Gunn’s sense of humor, expect an abundance of faux-retro vibes from the music video and plenty of Hasselhoff hijinks.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 is playing in theaters right now. The film stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, and Kurt Russell as Ego. Many of these same characters are set to appear in Avengers: Infinity War, its sequel, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.
