New ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2’ Trailer Hits The Web

Tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Chris Pratt was a guest on the show and the actor brought with him a new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.


Tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Star-Lord himself Chris Pratt was a guest on the show and he brought with him a brand new trailer for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.

The sequel follows the galaxy’s unlikeliest heroes as they set out on a quest to unravel the mystery of his roots and find his father, Ego The Living Planet played by Kurt Russell. The new trailer gives us our first official look at Russell in the film.

To celebrate the world premiere of the new trailer, writer and director James Gunn tweeted out a new poster for the upcoming film. You can check it out below.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell. Written and directed by James Gunn.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
