Marvel has released a new TV spot for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 which follows the galaxy’s unlikeliest heroes on a quest to unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s roots and find his father, Ego.

The new TV spot offers a glimpse at new footage of Ayesha and teases the adventure to come along with the alternate take of Drax’s reaction after Mantis gets taken out by the meteor.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell. Written and directed by James Gunn.

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
