Marvel has once again set the bar high for moviegoers with the upcoming release of the James Gunn-helmed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This time, Marvel has released a unique IMAX poster to entice fans to experience the movie in the best possible way. The poster features the Guardians and a vibrant color scheme that is sure to catch the eye of anyone passing by.
With the release of the poster, Marvel has also announced exclusive early marathon screenings of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy in IMAX theaters beginning on May 3. Fans will be able to experience the movie in all its glory with the stunning visual effects and crisp, high-quality sound that IMAX is known for.
In addition to the poster, Marvel has also released a new television spot for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, showcasing fresh footage from the highly-anticipated comic book movie. The 30-second spot features an array of action-packed scenes, including space battles and the usual banter between the Guardians.
One confirmed aspect of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the return of James Gunn as writer and director. Gunn was originally set to direct the film after the success of the first two Guardians flicks, but was temporarily removed from the project due to controversial tweets that resurfaced from his past. However, after a public outcry from the Guardians cast and fans, Gunn was reinstated on the film. Vol. 3 is his last Marvel movie due to his commitments to DC Studios.
