Michael Myers’ reign of terror isn’t over just yet as he returns to stalk Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode once again in Halloween Kills. The sequel to John Carpenter’s legendary horror franchise is currently filming with a planned release date of October 16, 2020. But Jamie Lee Curtis isn’t the only original cast member returning to Halloween kills — Charles Cyphers is coming back to play Sheriff Leigh Brackett in the new sequel.
Charles Cyphers played Sheriff Leigh Brackett in the original Halloween, which saw Michael Myers brutally murder his daughter Annie. It’ll be interesting to see how Michael’s return affects the Sheriff in Halloween Kills. A fan account on Twitter revealed that Charles Cyphers is returning to the role with a behind-the-scenes photo from Halloween Kills of the actor in costume. Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
Directed by David Gordan Green from a script co-written by himself, Jeff Fradley and Danny McBride, Halloween (2018) stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Virginia Gardner, and Nick Castle.
Halloween is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra-HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
DC Universe Debuts ‘Doom Patrol’ Character Posters
Along with the premiere of the first teaser for Doom Patrol, DC Universe also debuted a collection of character posters for each of the members of perhaps the strangest team of characters to be adapted in live-action form for DC Comics.
In particular, these new character posters highlight Timothy Dalton's The Chief, Diane Guerrero's Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade's Cyborg, April Bowlby's Elasti-Woman, Matt Bomer's Negative Man and Brendan Fraser's Robotman. These posters each follow unique designs that reflect the nature of each character and tease unique personalities amongst the group as well.
