Harley Quinn’s new Birds of Prey look bears a striking resemblance to her appearance in DC Comics’ Sink Atlantis crossover.

Last year, DC released the Aquaman/Suicide Squad: Sink Atlantis crossover event. The DC comics crossover sees Atlantis rise to the surface, with Harley Quinn and the Suicide Squad on a mission to send it back into the depths of the sea. Harley Quinn’s new Birds of Prey look was released earlier this week as filming begins in Los Angeles. A DC Cinematic subreddit member noticed a similarity between her Birds of Prey and Sink Atlantis look. You can see for yourself below:

Full details on the Birds of Prey plot are currently unknown, though the film is said to center on Huntress, Black Canary, and Harley Quinn joining forces to protect Cassandra Cain when she comes into the possession of a diamond belonging to a criminal kingpin known as Black Mask.

Directed by Cathy Yan from a script penned by Bumblebee writer Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Ewan, McGregor as Black Mask, and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Ali Wong, Robert Catrini, and Michael Masini have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

Birds of Prey will be released in theaters on February 7, 2020.
