‘Harley Quinn’ Makes Another Hilarious ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Bane Joke

Tom Hardy Harley Quinn The Dark Knight Rises Bane Christopher Nolan

The latest episode of DC Universe’s Harley Quinn makes another hilarious joke about Tom Hardy’s Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.

DC Universe’s animated Harley Quinn has been gaining even more of a following after a recent episode titled”Batman’s Back Man” that made fun of the Snyder Cut movement and the discourse surrounding Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In that same episode, the show also made a hilarious joke about Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.

Bane’s voice in Harley Quinn already pokes fun at Tom Hardy’s performance in The Dark Knight Rises, but the new episode made another great joke. In the episode, Two-Face is trying to recruit Bane to become partners. Two-Face shows him a poster of their partnership, but only features Bane as a shadow. During the scene, Bane mentions that he was born in the shadows, something that also comes up in The Dark Knight Rises. You can watch a clip from this week’s episode below.
