A new batch of set photos from the Indiana Jones 5 production feature a great look at Harrison Ford and Toby Jones in the upcoming adventure.

This week is a special one for the Indiana Jones franchise. Not only did filming on the latest installment start over in the United Kingdom, but Saturday also marks the 40th anniversary of the film that started it all: Raiders of the Lost Ark. We already got a look at Harrison Ford back as Indy alongside Kathleen Kennedy, but we now have an even better look at his return with a new cast member.

Several new images from Indiana Jones 5 were posted on the Star Wars Leaks subreddit that give us a much clearer look at Harrison Ford and our first look at Toby Jones’ character. You can check out the new set photos below.

Here is the synopsis for the last adventure in the series, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:

STEVEN SPIELBERG and GEORGE LUCAS bring you the greatest adventurer of all time in “a nonstop thrill ride” (Richard Corliss, TIME) that’s packed with “sensational, awe-inspiring spectacles” (Roger Ebert, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES). Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull finds Indy (Harrison Ford) trying to outrace a brilliant and beautiful agent (Cate Blanchett) for the mystical, all-powerful crystal skull of Akator. Teaming up with a rebellious young biker (Shia LaBeouf) and his spirited original love Marion (Karen Allen), Indy takes you on an action-packed adventure in the exciting tradition of the classic Indiana Jones movies!

Directed by Steven Spielberg with a script from David Koepp, the 2008 film stars Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett, Karen Allen, Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Jim Broadbent, and Shia LaBeouf.

Indiana Jones 5 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on July 29, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Lucasfilm’s upcoming projects, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content in the future!
