‘Hawkeye’ Actor Teases His MCU Character May Have Survived The Finale

"No one's ever dead in Marvel."

Fra Fee Kazi Hawkeye Marvel MCU

Hawkeye saw a range of new characters introduced to the MCU and while not all of them survived the series, one actor has suggested his character might not be gone for long.

Fra Fee played Kazi Kazimierczak in Hawkeye, a member of the Tracksuit Mafia and close ally of Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez. Kazi appeared to be killed in a confrontation with Maya, after she found out he had been aware of Kingpin’s plot to have her father killed. However, Fee has thrown doubt onto Kazi’s fate and suggested he could return to the MCU in future.

‘No One’s Ever Dead In Marvel’

In a recent interview with Attitude Magazine, Fra Fee was asked about his role in Hawkeye and whether he might return to the MCU for a future appearance. While the character was stabbed during his fight with Maya Lopez, his death was not explicitly shown. And Alaqua Cox’s Maya is returning in her own spinoff series, Echo, so there could be a chance for Fee’s Kazi to return alongside her.

Considering the possibility of future appearances in the MCU, Fra Fee pointed out that Marvel characters have a notoriously bad track record of remaining dead and so a return could certainly be on the cards for Kazi:

“Erm, the truth is, I don’t really know just yet. But I very much hope that Kazi can make an appearance. I wouldn’t put money on the fact he met an untimely end at the end of Hawkeye. No one’s ever dead in Marvel. I would be very hopeful and I’d certainly be thrilled to revisit the character and the world — I had such a good time.”

Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, A.K.A. Kingpin, also appeared to meet his demise in the Hawkeye finale, though few fans are expecting him to remain dead – especially as the camera conveniently moved away before Maya opened fire on him. Fans will have to wait for Echo to see if there’s any hope for Fra Fee’s Kazi to return as well.

Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Tony Dalton, Fra Free, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, Alaqua Cox, Florence Pugh, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. Kevin Feige served as an executive producer on the series.

Hawkeye is available to stream on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding Echo and future MCU projects, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
