Hawkeye Series With Jeremy Renner In Development At Disney+

Variety reports a Hawkeye series featuring Jeremy Renner is in the works at Disney+.

Marvel Studios’ post-Avengers: Endgame plans include television shows for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service that will feature familiar characters and introduce new faces to the MCU. Now, Disney+ is working a limited series centered around Hawkeye with Jeremy Renner attached to reprise his role as the skilled archer.

The Hawkeye series will reportedly follow Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton as he passes the mantle on to Kate Bishop, a character who took on the Hawkeye name in the comics. Disney, Marvel, and representatives for Jeremy Renner reportedly declined to comment.

Jeremy Renner will soon suit up as Hawkeye in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, which is set to conclude the first decade of Marvel Cinematic Universe stories.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
