First ‘Hawkeye’ Trailer Introduces Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop

Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop makes her debut in the first official trailer for Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye series.

With What If…? currently diving deeper into the concept of the Multiverse on Disney Plus, Marvel has released a trailer for its next series for the streaming service, focusing on Hawkeye. The sneak peek features the return of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton as he teams up with a young archer named Kate Bishop, played by Bumblebee and The Edge of Seventeen star Hailee Steinfeld.

In addition to the trailer, Marvel has also released a Holiday-themed poster for Hawkeye, featuring Clint Barton, Kate Bishop and Lucky the Pizza Dog.

The Hawkeye series was announced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige during San Diego Comic-Con 2019. Jonathan Igla serves as head writer for the six-episode project, with Rhys Thomas and filmmaking duo Bert and Bertie on board as directors.

Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye was last seen in Avengers: Endgame. Here’s the synopsis for the movie:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame is available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. Hawkeye is set to premiere on November 24th, exclusively on Disney Plus.
