An awesome new concept design depicts Justice League star Henry Cavill with a beard and the iconic black Superman costume for the DC Extended Universe.
Ever since his appearance in 2017s Justice League, Henry Cavill’s future as Superman remains one of the biggest questions surrounding the DC Extended Universe. Henry Cavill is currently working on Netflix’s The Witcher, but the British actor has said that he would love to reprise his role as Superman on the big screen. Warner Bros. have already replaced Ben Affleck with Robert Pattinson for The Batman, something that has caused many to speculate that the studio will do the same with Henry Cavill and Superman.
Nonetheless, something many DC fans have been clamoring to see is Henry Cavill don the black Superman suit in a DCEU movie. Justice League director Zack Snyder shared a photo of Henry Cavill in the black Superman suit, but it never made its way into Joss Whedon’s theatrical version.
