Henry Cavill Comments On George Miller ‘Justice League’ Rumors

Justice League Part One

A couple of days ago, it was being hinted that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller was possibly working as a producer on Zack Snyder’s Justice League that is getting ready to start production. As a reminder, Miller was supposed to direct the Justice League: Mortal film back in 2008 before the project was scrapped. This past weekend during the Academy Awards, MTV News was able to get a few minutes with the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, on the red carpet to ask him about the upcoming adventures in the DC Extended Universe.

During the interview, MTV News asked Cavill if Miller was in fact involved at all as a producer on the upcoming DC film starring the legendary titans of DC Comics, to which Cavill answered with the following response.

“I have heard nothing so far.”

Whether he actually doesn’t know or is just playing coy before an official announcement is made when the film starts rolling with the official cast and crew, it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Miller is in fact involved due to his relationship with Warner Bros.

Cavill was also asked if he could give any hints or share his thoughts about getting ready for Justice League.

“Absolutely! We’re talking about Justice League here! It’s the DC Cinematic Universe finally getting its chance to really grow in this one and I think all the characters are fantastic.”

You can check out the full interview below where he also talks a little about the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25, with Justice League: Part 1 coming on November 17, 2017.
