Digital artist House of Mat has shared an awesome fan-made photo of Justice League star Henry Cavill as Cyborg Superman.
A year and half after Justice League‘s debut in theaters, the film still remains a subject of interest for some, with many creating fan art that imagines what the future could hold for the DC Extended Universe. Now, a piece from House of Mat imagines what Justice League star Henry Cavill could look like a Cyborg Superman, the robotic evil counterpart to the Man of Steel.
In the comics, Cyborg Superman is the alter-ego of Hank Henshaw, a former astronaut whose body deteriorates after being exposed to radiation after a solar flare hits his team’s shuttle during a mission. Although his mind is saved, a new robotic body is designed for Henshaw using Kryptonian technology and genetics.

Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is currently in question, with Warner Bros. reportedly planning to put the character aside for the time being. For now, Henry Cavill will soon trade in his suit for the lead role in Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher. Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher will follow Henry Cavill as the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia.
