A stunning new concept design depicts Justice League star Henry Cavill with a Rebirth-inspired Superman suit.

Despite Justice League star Henry Cavill remaining adamant that he’s still the DC Extended Universe’s Superman, there’s been no word about a Man of Steel sequel being in active development. To further muddy his prospects, it’s worth noting that Henry Cavill hasn’t reprised his role as Superman since 2017’s Justice League. There’s a tinge of uncertainty in the air when it comes to Henry Cavill’s future as Superman, which has led to fans using their imagination to make the best out of the situation.

In an effort to create Superman content with Henry Cavill, artists have been sharing some brilliant work that features Justice League star Henry Cavill in different suits, always reminding us how vast the DC Comics wardrobe selection is. A brand new piece of fan art by Instagram user “jscomicart” shows Justice League star Henry Cavill rocking a Rebirth-inspired Superman costume at a frozen tundra, likely where the Fortress of Solitude is. You can check out the Superman fan art with Henry Cavill below.

The most interesting thing about this Superman artwork is how seamlessly the light blends in with the blue Rebirth suit. You could easily pass this off as an actual still from a new Superman movie starring Henry Cavill, something that makes it all the more intriguing to look at. At this current point, we have no idea regarding what’s next for Superman after his role in Justice League. Zack Snyder has been sharing a bevy of photos from his cut of the Justice League, some of which include Henry Cavill’s Superman, so there’s still hope that the character’s journey will continue on the big screen.
