‘The Witcher’ Star Henry Cavill Dons New 52-Inspired Superman Suit In Cool Fan Art

Henry Cavill Geralt of Rivia The Witcher Netflix Superman

A new DC Extended Universe concept design imagines depicts The Witcher star Henry Cavill with a Superman suit inspired by the New 52 comics.

Henry Cavill has cemented himself as one of the coolest and most versatile actors working today, with his body of work being as action-packed as it is diverse. In the past five years, Cavill has played Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher, August Walker in Mission: Impossible – Fallout, and Superman in the DCEU. Though he rose to prominence thanks to his role as Superman, we haven’t seen Cavill as the fan-favorite hero since the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for Henry Cavill to return to the role of Superman though it doesn’t look like that will happen anytime soon. The 37-year-old actor is adamant that he’s still Superman, despite no concrete plans by Warner Bros. regarding the character’s future. While he’s busy playing Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of The Witcher, digital artist jscomicart has shared a fan edit that shows off what Cavill would like if he returned to the Superman role with a New 52-inspired costume. You can see him below.

As cool and authentic New 52 suit is, there’s no telling when Henry Cavill will return to the role of Superman. Warner Bros. has reshuffled its entire DC Films slate and it doesn’t appear that there’s any space for Cavill at the moment. Lucky for Cavill, he still has the role of Geralt in The Witcher, which has garnered him significant acclaim from both fans and critics.
