‘Justice League’ Star Henry Cavill Returns For Superman Sequel In Pic

It stands for hope.

Henry Cavill Superman Justice League of Tomorrow

A new picture imagines Justice League star Henry Cavill suiting up as Superman for a proper sequel to Man of Steel.

Warner Bros. has numerous Superman projects in the works, but none of them include Henry Cavill. The Justice League star recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming projects in development that are both set to feature a Black Superman, but Cavill didn’t shut the door on a return as the iconic DC superhero in the future.

While a Superman film with Henry Cavill isn’t in the works at the moment, the actor could always return like Michael Keaton is as Batman in The Flash down the road. For now, Grievity imagines that possibility with a fan-made poster for a Man of Steel sequel many Superman fans have been waiting for:

Henry Cavill last played Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Here is the synopsis for the film:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”

The Snyder Cut stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Both versions of Justice League are available on HBO Max. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of Henry Cavill as Superman, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
