Henry Cavill gave a nod to Superman in a new photo promoting BOSS eyewear sunglasses.

Superman’s alter-ego, Clark Kent, is perhaps best known for the glasses he uses as part of his disguise. So, it is fitting that Henry Cavill, who portrayed Superman in three DC Extended Universe films, is promoting BOSS eyewear glasses on his official Instagram account.

In fact, Henry Cavill even gave a nod to Superman in the disclaimer included in the caption accompanying the post. In the disclaimer section, Henry Cavill advised fans to avoid staring directly into the sun before joking mentioning that it is the source of his Superman powers.

Henry Cavill’s future as Superman is currently in question amid reports on contentious contract negotiations and Warner Bros. plans to focus their efforts on introducing Supergirl to the DC Extended Universe. While Henry Cavill’s planned Superman cameo in Shazam! was cut after negotiations to reprise his role fell through, the actor has expressed his interest in returning to the role if asked.

Henry Cavill most recently portrayed Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Here’s the official synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
