The Witcher star Henry Cavill revealed a bloody new photo from behind-the-scenes of the Netflix fantasy series.
Now that production has resumed on Netflix’s The Witcher, Henry Cavill took to Instagram to reveal a bloody behind-the-scenes photo of himself working with the make-up department. Many fans are excited to see where the second season takes Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer following the non-linear storytelling of the first batch of episodes. As well as the continuing adventures of the mystical hero, Netflix has also commissioned a six-part prequel series exploring the history of the first Witcher.
Henry Cavill posted this bloody photo of himself on Instagram as production continues in the United Kingdom. The star joked that there’s no bald cap needed for his role this year, just plenty of medical tape. He also joked about the two make-up and hairstylists working on the series, saying one of them is an “angel of vengeance.” Take a look at the new behind-the-scenes photo from Henry Cavill’s The Witcher below.
