Spider-Man: Homecoming held its Red Carpet premiere in Hollywood tonight, and fans were greeted with something exciting even before the film screened. Tom Holland made a spectacular entrance to the Red Carpet, donning his Spidey suit as well as his yellow high school blazer and his headphones around his neck – as depicted in one of the film’s posters.
Holland came into the premiere, relaxing on the hood of another car with a selfie stick in hand. Right after taking some quick selfies, Holland back-flipped off of the vehicle and landed in Spidey-like fashion on the floor. Holland went on to take more pictures with the fans right before returning to the car and to re-emerge with his proper suit and tie.
It is always entertaining to see actors and actresses from these comic book films share love to their fans in person, but seeing Holland make a heroic entrance into the film’s Red Carpet premiere is something special. It also goes to show that Holland has such a passion for the character, that he is not merely wearing the suit, but rather embracing it and staying in character. It would have been one thing if he appeared only wearing the suit, but it is on another level that he can even do a back-flip and share his enthusiasm for the movie with the fans in-character.
