'Spider-Man: Homecoming' producer Kevin Feige reveals that the Spider-Man costume may have a number of upgrades courtesy of Tony Stark.

When Peter Parker/Spider-Man made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in last summers Captain America: Civil War, his iconic Spider-Man suit came courtesy of Tony Stark/Iron Man, who later provided the young hero with a new gadget in the films post-credits scene. When it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. would appear in the wall crawlers first MCU solo film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, fans began speculating that the tech genius would be providing further upgrades to the costume. While fans were given a glimpse of the new upgrades in teaser for the films upcoming trailer, Kevin Feige revealed to USA Today that there may be more adjustments to the costume than already revealed.

Feige explained that Peter Parker will have a lot to discover when it comes to the suit upgrades provided by Stark.

“[The Spider-Man suit] can do a lot more than he even realizes right now. You begin to see just how much Tony Stark loves bells and whistles.”

The teaser for the trailer, set to debut tonight on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, revealed that the costume will now feature the underarm webbing featured in the classic Spider-Man comics. What other upgrades do you think Tony Stark could have made to the suit? Share your thoughts below!

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released in theaters on July 7, 2017.
