If you watched Spider-Man: Homecoming, you know Peter Parker’s best friend in the film, Ned Leeds. Leeds was one of the standouts in Spider-Man: Homecoming and fans loved him. Leeds looks a lot and acts a lot like Ganke Lee from the Miles Morales Spider-Man comics. Coincidentally Lee is the best friend to Morales, so a joke involving both Leeds and Lee would be pretty meta and hilarious.
In issue #236, writer Brian Michael Bendis has a lot of fun with Lee and Leeds’ similarities. A girl asks Lee if his name is Ned and replies “Do I look like a Ned?” The joke is pretty solid and flows perfectly. The illustrations by Oscar Bazaldua, Brian Reber, and Cory Petit fit the moment perfectly. You can check out an image of the full panel from the comic over at ScreenRant by clicking here.
