While fans still patiently wait for the first official still of actor Tom Holland as Spider-Man, we got a cool little Captain America: Civil War tidbit to hold you down in the meantime.
With Captain America: Civil War deep into post production, and a new trailer on the horizon dropping soon, here is the question on everyone’s mind: how long has Peter Parker been Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
According to sources, the latest rumor is that Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker has been active as Spider-Man for a little over a year during the events of Captain America: Civil War. Just like Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Spider-Man is considered a myth, an urban legend. In the upcoming 2017 Spider-Man standalone film by Cop Car helmer Jon Watts, Holland’s Peter Parker will have been active as Spider-Man for two years.
Again, a cool little tidbit. There are other Spider-Man rumors I am following up on, but for now wanted to share this tidbit as it hasn’t been reported yet.
