There are only a few weeks before Avengers: Infinity War, but that’s not stopping the Mad Titan Thanos from makings sure the people of Earth know that he means business.
An ad featured in a Japanese newspaper sees the famed Marvel villain ripping through the pages of the foreign publication with his infamous Infinity Gauntlet. The eye-grabbing advertisement was published in the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun. A picture of the paper has been making its way around the Marvel fan community and has gotten fans even more excited for Infinity War’s impending release.
Through the devastation led by the Josh Brolin voiced villain, blurbs & photos of the upcoming Marvel film lay behind the destruction. The Avenger’s symbol is seen breaking under the pressure of the Gauntlet’s grip, a possible foreshadowing of what is to come in the upcoming unprecedented superhero film.
Marvel has been teasing out Thanos since the post-credit scene behind 2012’2 The Avengers. The character got the most screen time later in James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy and was last seen in the mid-credit scene following 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. The evil overlord grabs the infamous Gauntlet out of its futuristic safe and claims, “Fine I’ll do it myself.” Showcasing his disappointment in having minions like Loki and Ronin fail to gather him his precious Infinity Stones. Thanos looks to complete his plan and add to the culmination of all the events of the MCU thus far when Avengers: Infinity War releases later this month.
