‘Marvel’s Inhumans’ IMAX Premiere Will Be Shorter Than TV Version

At the Television Critics Association’s press tour today, Marvel confirmed that the Inhumans IMAX premiere episode will be about ten minutes shorter than the ABC network premiere of the same episode. The IMAX episode will run for seventy five minutes, while the network premiere (almost a month later) will run for eighty four minutes.

It’s interesting to note that Marvel has decided to shorten the length of the IMAX version, given that fans will have to pay for movie tickets to see that one.

Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Iwan Rhoen as Maximus, Ken Leung as Karnak, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Mike Moh as Triton, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Ellen Woglomas Louise.

The first two episodes will be screening in IMAX theaters for two weeks starting on September 1. Inhumans will then premiere on ABC at 8/7c on September 29.

Funko Reveals New Inhumans Pop! Figures

Funko Inhumans MedusaEarlier in the year, Funko revealed a new pop figure for Black Bolt, king of the Royal Family and the most famous character from the Inhumans. If you are a Funko collector and a huge fan of the Inhumans, then get ready for more Royal Family members.

Funko revealed today that Lockjaw, Medusa, and Maximus are getting their own pop figures this fall. First up is Lockjaw that is not only getting his own Funko figure but also two Plushie versions, a 5? and a 12? one. The 12? version will be exclusively available at Toys “R” Us starting in September, which is also when the Inhumans television series will premiere.

The site pointed out that Medusa’s Funko figure will be exclusively available at Hot Topic while the Funko figures for Maximus and Lockjaw will be available at most places. You can check out the new pop figures in the gallery below.
